BIO

I was born in 2000 in Changsha, China. When I was eleven months old, my parents went there to bring me to Spain. I grew up in Albacete. I remember that at school I was always the only one in class who took art and everything to do with drawing seriously, but it wasn’t until I was twelve years old that I started my own notebook. I only drew mermaids from the anime Pichi Pichi Pitch, maybe that’s why I like drawing mermaids so much now. All my life I wanted to be a vet, but I got the urge to study at a secondary art school and learn how to draw better, because back then I only knew how to copy drawings from Pinterest. The first year of school I met a tattoo artist, Chino Carretero, who came to give a talk at the Art School, and with him I had my first contact with the world of tattooing, at the age of 16. From then on, I knew I wanted to be a tattoo artist. I finished high school and came to Valencia to study Fine Arts. Tattooing was still present in my life, but I tattooed only a couple of times a month, which was very frustrating. When I went to get tattooed, I saw the atmosphere in the studios, and I was very envious because I wanted to be there too. In quarantine I started to do a lot of big designs to see if anyone would want to get tattooed, and it was in March 2021 when I started to do the designs that I liked. This summer I started to work at my first studio, La Cruz Tattoo, owned by my friend Chino, in Albacete. I really liked the experience of tattooing with other artists, so when I went back to Valencia in September to finish my degree, I managed to get into No Land. I feel very lucky to have joined the studio I wanted, and the atmosphere here is very good. I don’t know where I’ll be in the future, but I hope to keep learning and gaining experience as a tattoo artist.
